a bit underwhelming stay

loud fanclosed restaurant

the room i was assigned felt a bit tired. the bathroom fan ran constantly, and it was quite loud, even at night. i reported it, but i learned it was part of the building's fire safety system and had to run all the time. also, the hotel restaurant was closed both evenings i was there, so the bar was not serving drinks either.

the location was acceptable near the train station though the parking was expensive.

the staff wasn't very friendly or knowledgeable. they also didn't replenish the room coffee and tea packets daily, a rather stingy policy. the laundry service took three days to return my clothes, and the cost was quite high, not a good experience.

Breakfast staff were very friendly, I really appreciated that. The food offered at breakfast was delicious. My room was furnished with new beds, chairs, and wardrobes. I also liked that it was near the train station.

I found ordering a taxi for an early flight difficult! I was a bit disappointed by that. The room had a strong odor. I found silverfish and other insects there too.
